Rebirth è stato ispirato da fatti accaduti a persone che ho avuto il privilegio di conoscere. L'orrore del nazismo è nel cuore dell'umanità una ferita che non si è ancora chiusa e non sembra che ci sia la volontà di imparare dal passato perché si continuano a ripetere gli stessi errori.

   Allo stesso modo ci sono voci che continuano gridare per non dimenticare ciò che è stato e che non dovrebbe più accadere. I fatti avvenuti durante la seconda guerra mondiale e nei campi di sterminio sono già stati ampiamente trattati per cui ho voluto dare il mio contributo offrendo una prospettiva diversa soffermandomi sugli stati d'animo dei sopravvissuti che hanno perso i propri cari a causa delle deportazioni naziste.

   Rebirth was inspired by events that happened to poeple I had the privilege to know. The horror of Nazism is an unhealed wound in the heart of humanity and it doesn't look like there is the will to learn from the past because we keep on doing the same errors.

   At the same time there are voices that keep on shouting to not forget what happened and that shouldn't happen again. The events occurred during the WWII and in the extermination camps have already been extensively covered so I wanted to contirbute offering a different perspective focusing on the feelings of the survivors who lost their loved ones because of the Nazi deportations.
